He held off teammate #22-Brad Keselowski through the end of the race for his first Nationwide Series win. #18-Kyle Busch was third followed by #60-Carl Edwards, #33-Kevin Harvick, #27-Greg Biffle, #32-Reed Sorenson, #40-Mike Bliss, #10-Jason Leffler, and #7-Scott Wimmer. O'Quinn fastest in opening practice: #90-Danny O'Quinn was the fastest in the opening practice session for the Scotts Turf Builder 300. His top speed was 121.836mph. #22-Brad Keselowski was second followed by #12-Justin Allgaier, #38-Kasey Kahne, #33-Kevin Harvick, #99-Trevor Bayne, #18-Kyle Busch, #27-Greg Biffle, #20-Joey Logano, and #88-Kelly Bires. There were several single car spins during the session. Involved were #09-Riggs and #20-Logano, who suffered no damage, #21-Townley, who backed into the wall and #92-Chapman who hit the front end of the car. Townley will have to go to a backup. Cup teams also ran this left-side tire code at Pocono in 2009 . . . teams in the Nationwide Series ran this left-side code at both Gateway and Iowa last year, and this right-side code at Bristol last August . . . this tire set-up was tested at Bristol last July, and it was found to better rubber in the track surface with a more consistent level of grip . . . the Cup car participating in that test was that of Richard Childress Racing with driver Casey Mears . . . unlike on other NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, where no inner liners are run, teams will run liners in their right-side tires only at Bristol . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
