Chicago Qualifying Notes:
Brian Scott won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 11th Annual Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola with a lap of 30.552 seconds, 176.748 mph.
This is his first pole in 70 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. His previous best start was third at Auto Club Speedway on Feb. 20, 2010.
This is his first pole and 11th top-10 start in 2011.
This is his first pole in three races at Chicagoland Speedway.
Brad Keselowski(i) (second) posted his 17th top-10 start of 2011 and his third in six races at Chicagoland Speedway.
Paul Menard(i) (third) posted his first top-10 start at Chicagoland Speedway. It is his fifth in five races this season.
Ryan Truex (fourth) was the fastest qualifying rookie.
