Stenhouse fastest in first practice: #6-Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. was fastest during opening practice at Lucas Oil Raceway with a speed of 107.351mph. #22-Parker Kligerman, subbing for Brad Keselowski was second, followed by: #2-Elliott Sadler, #33-Austin Dillon, #16-Chris Buescher (subbing for Trevor Bayne), #11-Brian Scott, #88-Aric Almirola, #38-Jason Leffler, #7-Josh Wise, and #20-Drew Herring. The only reported accident was by #13-Jennifer Jo Cobb. She did not have a backup car so she made an agreement with Rick Ware Racing to use the #71 car and convert it to her #13 to race.(7-30-2011)
