Labonte asked the Petty's to use the #44 for 2005 and 2006. Labonte will run 10 races in 2005 and 2006, then supposedly retire. Ran Sonoma in the #11 Fed-Ex car and since Leffler was released at the #11 aftewr Indy, Labonte will run some races in the car. Has Champions Provisional to use if needed, so no real worries to qualify.
