  • Cold and Damp, but no rain at Martinsville, Friday practice is over: The quickest was #24-Jeff Gordon at 93.511mph followed #20-Tony Stewart at 93.497 and #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr at 93.359. Slowest were Dennis Setzer [in for Hermie Sadler] at 91.740 and #54-Todd Bodine at 91.931. The track record is 95.371 by Tony Stewart in 9/2000
