Race Comments: Jeff Gordon won the Dodge/Save Mart 350, posting his 67th career NASCAR NEXTEL Cup victory. Prior to the green flag, the following drivers, under penalty, dropped from their original starting positions to the rear of the field for the reasons indicated: #17 Matt Kenseth (back-up car), #19 Jeremy Mayfield (engine change), #15 Michael Waltrip (engine change) and #10 Scott Riggs (driver introductions).
