Prior to the green flag, the following drivers, under penalty, dropped to the rear of the field for the reasons indicated: #51 Stuart Kirby (engine change); #66 Mike Garvey (transmission change); #8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. (unapproved impound adjustment); #37 Kevin Lepage (unapproved impound adjustment).
