Prior to the green flag, the following drivers, under penalty, dropped to the rear of the field for the reasons indicated: #97 Kenny Wallace (driver change); #49 Ken Schrader (transmission change); #34 Chad Chaffin (unapproved impound adjustment); #95 Stanton Barrett (unapproved impound adjustment).
