Race Comments: Before an estimated crowd of 107,000, Kevin Harvick won the Chevy Rock & Roll 400, posting his eighth NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series victory. It was the 30th consecutive sellout crowd at Richmond. Prior to the green flag, the following driver, under penalty, dropped to the rear of the field for the reasons indicated: #34 Blount (unapproved impound adjustment).
