NOTES:

·          HUGE RACE FOR “MIRACLE MARK  --  The ageless wonder is methodically becoming THE story of the 2009 NSCS season. Three wins in the first 15 races, and back in the T12, although only 61 points ahead of David Reutimann in 13th. Having a season that could help his NASCAR Hall of Fame chances down the road.

·          IS BURTON NEXT TO FALL OUT OF T12?  RCR’s recent woes continued at MIS and Jeff Burton’s mediocre 26th place finish dropped him to just 3 points inside the T12.  Reutimann’s 19th at MIS dropped him just out of the T12..

·          BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR JPM:  Juan Montoya’s strong run all day at MIS netted him a sixth place finish and gained him 19 precious points toward 12th place.  Now just 43 points out of the T12, a win win or podium finish at Infineon would push JPM closer to the Chase field, if not at least temporarily in it.

·          T12 BY OWNERS:  Stewart-Haas 2 of 2 (100%), Hendrick 3 of 4 (75%), Gibbs 2 of 3 (66%), Roush 3 of 5 (60%), Childress 1 of 4 (25%).

·          T12 BY MANUFACTURERS:  Chevrolet 6, Ford 3, Toyota 2, Dodge 1
