·          KYLE BUSCH’S FOURTH AT WG BRINGS SEVERAL BACK TO THE “DANGER ZONE:” Kyle Busch held on to fourth place and 165 precious points at The Glen, and bought himself some valuable real estate in the ’09 Race to the Chase. He gained 15 points on Juan Montoya, 53 points on Kasey Kahne, 65 on Ryan Newman, just 10 on Greg Biffle, 71 points on Mark Martin and 44 points on Matt Kenseth, pulling within 58 of Matt.

·          VICKERS, BOWYER REMAIN IN CONTENTION:  Brian Vickers pulled within 96 points of 13^th place Kenseth and Clint Bowyer is now 99 points out after  an 11^th and 9^th, respectively. David Reutimann has faded back to 155 points out, and needs a strong rally to get back into serious contention.

·          TEN STRAIGHT TOP TENS FOR TONY:  Tony Stewart has set a blistering pace over the last ten races, with three wins, six podium finishes, and 8 top fives.  

·          T12 BY OWNERS:  Stewart-Haas 2 of 2 (100%), Hendrick 3 of 4 (75%), Roush 3 of 5 (60%),   Earnhardt/Ganassi 1 of 2 (50%) Gibbs 1 of 3 (33%), Penske 1 of 3 (33%), Petty 1 of 3 (33%).
