McMurray has not won a race from the pole the other five time he won it. #48-Johnson, who has never won at Chicago, will start 2nd followed by #14-Stewart, #16-Biffle, #77-Hornish Jr., #24-Gordon, #00-Reutimann, #56-Truex Jr., #98-Menard and #42-Montoya [who was fastest in Happy Hour practice].
