Kurt Busch wins at Atlanta: #2-Kurt Busch won the Kobalt Tools 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for his 1st win of 2010, 21st of his career and 3rd at AMS. #17-Kenseth finished 2nd, followed by #42-Montoya, #9-Kahne, #98-Menard, #43-Allmendinger, #83-Vickers, #16-Biffle, #29-Harvick and #82-Speed. Pole sitter #88-Earnhardt Jr. finished 15th but lead no laps. #12-Keselowski made contacts with #99-Edwards early in the race, sending Edwards into the wall and to the garage. Edwards came back in to the race many laps down and with a few lapsto go, ran into the #12, which turned around then flipped over, landing on the roof and then back over. Keselowski was shaken up, but ok. Edwards was parked for the rest of the race and called to the NASCAR Hauler. 27 cars finished on the lead lap. There were 11 caution periods for 33 yellow flag laps. There were 31 lead changes among 13 drivers.
The race is scheduled to be re-aired, Wednesday, March 10 at 12:00pm/et on SPEED.(3-7-2010)
