Johnson wins at Kansas: #48-Jimmie Johnson won the Hollywood Casino 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway for his 55th career win (tied for 8th all time with Rusty Wallace), 2nd of of the season and his 20th Chase race win. Johnson led 197 of 272 laps. The race finsihed with a green-white-checker due to a late race caution when #24-Gordon lost an engine, adding 5 laps to the race distance.
#4-Kahne finished 2nd followed by #2-Keselowski, #17-Kenseth, #99-Edwards [was lucky dog], #29-Harvick, #33-Bowyer,#16-Biffle, #9-Ambrose and #5-Martin. Pole sitter #16-Biffle led 23 laps and finished 8th.
The win is the 199th for Hendrick Motorsports. Chevrolet clinches the Manufacturers Championship, it's 35th championship and 9th in a row.
#99-Edwards leads the Chase by 1 point over #29-Harvick, Johnson is 4 pts behind.
There were 19 lead changes among 9 drivers and 6 cautions for 25 yellow flag laps. The attendance is listed as 82,000 down from 100,000 last year.
