NASCAR Busch Series rookie Ryan Newman spent Tuesday and Wednesday testing at Darlington, his first visit to the track. During his test session, Newman got some pointers from Buddy Baker, a two-time winner at Darlington. According to Baker, Newman has proven capable of running times in his Roger Penske-owned #02 Alltel Ford Taurus that could make the field in a NASCAR Winston Cup Series race.
