Race Rundown

Brandon Jones snatches dramatic NASCAR Xfinity win at Kansas: On the final lap of overtime in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 250, Brandon Jones stole a victory and a piece of history from Austin Cindric. Restarting from seventh place in the second overtime attempt, Jones charged forward and wrested the lead from Cindric, who was less than one lap away from tying Sam Ard’s NASCAR Xfinity Series record of four straight victories, a feat Ard accomplished in 1983.[Read More](7-25-2020)

#19-Brandon Jones won the Kansas Lottery 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Kansas Speedway. The win is his 2nd win of the year, 2nd at Kansas, and 3rd career win.
#22-Cindric finished 2nd followed by #20-Burton, #39-Sieg, #10-Chastain, #11-Haley, #8-Hemric, pole sitter #1-Annett, #18-Herbst, and #7-Allgaier.
The race ended after the second overtime attempt.  Harrison Burton was leading the race by more than a second with 3 laps to go when the caution came out. Sieg stayed out after others pitted and took the lead.  During the first overtime attempt another caution came out for #4-Little.  Sieg restarted as the leader but was shifted back as Jones came up from 7th place to take the lead and the win.
Stage 1 and 2 were both won by #22-Cindric.
There were 9 lead changes among 5 drivers and 5 cautions for 22 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 126.388mph.
