It took three overtimes, but #51-Jeremy Clements upset the Xfinity Series field at Daytona, winning the Wawa 250. This is the second win of Clements’ career, and first since 2017.
#13-Timmy Hill finished a career high second. #16-AJ Allmendinger was involved in multiple incidents and finished third. #68-Brandon Brown and #45-Sage Karam rounded out the top five.
#6-Ryan Vargas placed sixth, as #54-Ty Gibbs, #36-Alex Labbe, #66-JJ Yeley and #38-Kyle Sieg filled out the top 10.
#54-Gibbs won the opening stage, his fourth of the season. #9-Gragson picked up his 11th stage victory of the season in the second stage.
There were 19 lead changes among 12 drivers and 10 cautions for 41 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 113.328 mph.
