In overtime, #48-Parker Kligerman pushed #7-Justin Allgaier and #2-Sheldon Creed wide allowing #00-Cole Custer to get by for the lead. #00-Custer went on to lead the final two laps and won the Xfinity Series Season race at Portland International Raceway — his first win of the 2023 season.
JR Motorsports took the next three spots in the rundown, with #7-Allgaier finishing runner-up. #1-Sam Mayer placed third and #8-Josh Berry rebounded from a mid-race spin to finish fourth. #21-Austin Hill rounded out the top five.
#19-Myatt Snider finished sixth in his first start since Daytona. Polesitter #2-Sheldon Creed, who led a race-high 47 laps finished seventh, followed by #24-Connor Mosack, #16-Chandler Smith and #20-John Hunter Nemechek.
#2-Creed won the opening stage, while #00-Custer picked up his third stage win of the season in the second stage.
There were five lead changes among four drivers and five cautions for 10 yellow flag laps.
