When a caution flew on the final lap, #20-Ryan Truex was ahead of the field to win the Wawa 250 Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway. The win is his second win in eight starts this season, and his first at Daytona.
#81-Chandler Smith finished second, his best finish on a superspeedway. #48-Parker Kligerman placed third, as the caution on the final lap started with contact between Kligerman and #16-AJ Allmendinger. #98-Riley Herbst and #39-Ryan Sieg rounded out the top five.
#32-Jordan Anderson placed sixth. #7-Justin Allgaier won the first two stage but dropped to seventh in the finishing order. #18-Sheldon Creed, #42-Leland Honeyman Jr. and #91-Kyle Weatherman filled the top 10.
There were 19 lead changes among six drivers and seven cautions for 34 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 117.182 mph.

After the opening round of qualifying, lightning was within an eight-mile radius of Daytona International Speedway, canceling the final round. #81-Chandler Smith had the fastest time in the opening round (181.189 mph), awarding him his first pole of the 2024 season. It’s the first pole for Toyota on a superspeedway in more than eight years.
Five-time superspeedway winner #21-Austin Hill will start second (181.123 mph). #16-AJ Allmendinger (181.050 mph), #19-Joe Graf Jr. (180.955 mph) and #2-Jesse Love (180.814 mph) round out the top five.
