Michigan International Speedway announced today that the MISCamping.com Infield for the Father’s Day race weekend has officially sold out for the sixth year in a row. General camping, grandstand tickets, and hospitality are still available for fans to experience an action-packed weekend of racing with NASCAR’s return to the Irish Hills June 18-20, 2027.
“Selling out the MISCamping.com Infield for six straight years wouldn’t happen without the strong community our fans have built at MIS,” said Joe Fowler, President of Michigan International Speedway. “Race weekend is a chance for our fans to reconnect, spend time together and share their love of racing. With NASCAR returning to the Irish Hills on Father’s Day weekend for the first time in years, we’re excited to see families and friends carry on old traditions and start new ones.”
Fans can still get in on all the race action with grandstand tickets, outside campsites across Michigan’s largest registered campground, and hospitality options for the weekend. Campsite areas still available include Brooklyn Trails located on Brooklyn Highway across from the track, Brookfest Acres located outside of turn 4, M50 Creekside located behind turn 3, Graves Family Campground located on US-12, High Banks located outside of turn 3, and Tree Farm which is just outside of turns 3 and 4.
During the FireKeepers Casino 400 earlier this year, Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin won the FireKeepers Casino 400 for the second year in a row. Hamlin led 40 laps in the race, including the final 39 of the 200-lap race and served as Hamlin’s fourth career Cup Series win at Michigan International Speedway.
The June race weekend at Michigan International Speedway begins with the ARCA Menards Series Henry Ford Health 200 on Friday, June 18, followed by the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 Powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics on Saturday, June 19. The NASCAR Cup Series will cap off the weekend’s action with the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday, June 20.
