Key Motorsports is continuing it’s effort to locate a marketing partner following a successful NASCAR Nationwide Series campaign in 2009. The #40 Chey finished 21st in owner points after beginning the season without any points or provisionals. The Key Motorsports team plans to run the full 35 race Nationwide Series schedule in 2010. The lack of a signed sponsor has not slowed activity at the Key Motorsports shop, with team members busily preparing cars for next season. While Scott Wimmer, Mike Bliss, Aric Almirola and Jeffrey Earnhardt shared driving duties in the #40 during 2009, Key Motorsports has not made any driver announcement for 2010. Long time NASCAR crew chief Gary Showalter remains with the organization and will call the shots from the pit box again in 2010.(Hardcore Racefans)(1-23-2010)
