StarCom Racing and VRX Simulators will continue its partnership throughout the Westcoast swing in the Valley of the Sun at the TicketGuardian500 and then following at the Auto Club 400. Jeffrey Earnhardt will once again pilot the VRX Chevy 00 this Sunday on the one-mile low banked tri-oval track.
“After just coming off a successful launch for the 2018 season with Jeffrey Earnhardt, VRX is incredibly excited to support a sim racer driver,” says Robert Stanners, CEO of VRX Simulators. “The importance of simulation in driver development is getting stronger every day, and we want nothing more than to see our passion in motorsports and technology continue to play a big part in the NASCAR world.”
Recently VRX provided racing simulators for the The Gran Turismo Sport Championship Series and was a part of WorldGaming’s first national racing tournament as part of a joint effort with Cineplex, WorldGaming, PFAFF, and Sony PlayStation.
“I’m really pumped to head to Phoenix after making progress in Las Vegas. We all knew it was going to take several races to work out the kinks but Tony is doing the things necessary to make us successful in the long run and we’re confident it’s going to keep getting better as we log more laps,” said Jeffrey Earnhardt
SCR, with the help of its partnership with VRX, continues to grow and strengthen its program under the leadership of Team Manager and former Daytona 500 Champion, Derrike Cope. The team continues to strengthen its core by adding quality personnel and growing partnerships that will allow SCR’s 00 to approve its performance week-by-week throughout the season.
“We, as a team, work hard to provide our partners with a first class V.I.P experience at the track, as hospitality is a huge part of our program.” said 00 Car Owner, William Woehlemann. “We are looking forward to building our team and new relationships throughout the year and to showcasing the results on the track.”
