UPDATE: Sunday’s race from Sonoma (Ca.) … earned a 1.5 rating and 2.48 million viewers on FS1 — up a tick in ratings and 6% in viewership from last year (1.4, 2.33M), but down 25% and 24% respectively from 2017 (2.0, 3.24M).
Martin Truex Jr.‘s win was the first Sonoma race to increase since 2016.
Keep in mind the race had a lead-in from the Women’s World Cup. The preceding England-Cameroon match had a 0.8 and 1.2 million. It also faced competition from the tournament, airing opposite France-Brazil on the FOX broadcast network (1.7, 2.84M).

Fox is expected to finish their portion of the year with higher ratings than last year.
