DGM Racing and Ryan Ellis are excited to reveal the Tablo TVTM ‘Tablo-Dega’ Chevrolet for the United Rentals 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race at Talladega Superspeedway. Tablo TV goes full throwback at Talladega with a retro paint scheme that evokes the nostalgia of free broadcast television – it’s the perfect example of Tablo TV, a product that unlocks classic movies, shows and live sports without monthly fees or subscriptions.
Tablo TV has consistently brought fun and innovative campaigns to the race track, raising the bar with each new activation. From the Broadway-themed car in Nashville to the football-inspired campaign in Kansas City, Tablo TV has delivered unique experiences for fans both on and off the track. Now Tablo TV is bringing the same energy and creativity to Talladega with a car that celebrates classic movies and the joy of live, free TV entertainment.
From big races to classic movies and shows, Tablo TV brings a fresh twist to modern television and streaming. Its revolutionary products allow users to access the best of live and local broadcast TV—including news, sports, weather, and shows, and with a fresh DVR experience, users can watch, pause, and record all their favorites subscription-free.
“A match made in heaven, Tablo TV’s classic movie-inspired car celebrates the nostalgia of classic TV and the importance of local broadcasts,” shared Alicia Hackett, VP of Platform Sales and Partnerships at Tablo TV. “Talladega is unlike any other track — from the fans camping out and tailgating to the high-speed excitement on track, it’s a place where shared experiences come alive. Tablo TV is proud to create another experience at such an iconic track while connecting fans with the movies, shows, and live sports they love. With another Tablo TV-sponsored in-car camera, fans will have a front-row seat to watch the Playoff Race at Talladega Superspeedway.”
Ellis is excited to return to Talladega, a track he’s known for performing well at, with an iconic throwback-themed paint scheme. This April, Ellis turned heads with an impressive 9th-place qualifying effort. He went on to finish 16th in the race, marking his third Top 16 placement at Talladega Superspeedway.
Driver of the Tablo-Dega Chevrolet, Ryan Ellis expresses his excitement for the campaign,“Talladega is a track that’s synonymous with big moments and big personalities, and it’s really cool for Tablo to lean into that with this ‘Tablo-Dega’ concept. Tablo has done such a great job bringing fun ideas to the sport, and this throwback is the perfect example of that. Hopefully, we can make our way toward the front and give fans a finish as exciting as this car looks.”
With just a one-time device purchase of about $100, an antenna, internet connection and the free Tablo TV app, customers can watch live, local broadcast coverage of racing, movies, classic shows and more for free. Families can stream on multiple devices at once, making it easy to catch the big race in one room and a movie in another. Simple, affordable, and endlessly entertaining—Tablo TV brings America’s most popular TV back to fans for free.
