Las Vegas Motor Speedway will celebrate Kyle Busch’s remarkable career and connection to his home track during the 2026 Fall NASCAR Chase Weekend, honoring the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion through special race-weekend moments, fan experiences, and permanent additions to the speedway.
The recognitions will take center stage during the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Chase Race weekend. Busch will have a reserved seat at the NASCAR Cup Series drivers’ meeting, while his No. 8 will be placed in the infield grass. During the race, fans will join in a special “Moment of Rowdy” on Lap 8 and a video board featuring memorable moments and accomplishments from Busch’s career will play.
One of Busch’s most significant accomplishments will return to the speedway for fans to see firsthand. His 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship trophy will be displayed during pre-race celebrations, giving fans the chance to view and photograph the hardware Busch earned during his championship-winning season.
Another piece of that championship season will visit Las Vegas with Busch’s 2019 championship No. 18 car on display at the South Point display in the Fan Zone. The Gen 6 car features the iconic M&M’S paint scheme Busch drove to his second NASCAR Cup Series championship, offering fans a look at one of the most recognizable cars from his career.
The speedway itself will also reflect Busch’s presence throughout the weekend. A “Rowdy Forever” billboard will take over the Turn 4 backdrop, while an elevator drop banner facing the Fan Zone will provide another prominent nod to the Las Vegas native.
The celebration will extend beyond the speedway with a concert benefiting Bundle of Joy, the charity Busch and his wife, Samantha, founded. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country, bringing the Las Vegas community together in support of an organization important to the Busch family.
While the weekend will feature numerous moments celebrating Busch’s career, his connection to Las Vegas Motor Speedway will continue well beyond October through several permanent additions to the property.
The Friday night race of Fall NASCAR Weekend at The Bullring will officially be named the Kyle Busch Classic, honoring Busch’s roots in short-track racing and his longstanding connection to the facility. The event will feature CARS Tour West, and this year, Busch’s son, Brexton, will compete. The evening will include several special moments for the Busch family, including Brexton waving the green flag for the CARS Tour West Pro Late Model race and joining his sister, Lennix, for the driver’s command. The Busch family will also be in attendance for the dedication of the Kyle Busch Memorial Rock in The Bullring’s Park, with the ceremony scheduled for 5:20 PM on Friday, October 2.
The street intersections leading into The Bullring right off entry gate 3 will be renamed Rowdy Road, while the other street will be renamed Busch Brothers Drive, creating permanent reminders of the Busch family’s connection to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The new street names will be formally presented to the Busch family during the pre-race stage on Sunday, October 4.
Additionally, a permanent Kyle Busch memorial will be installed under the grandstand near the Neon Garage tunnel entrance, creating another lasting tribute to the Las Vegas native where fans can sign their names and pay their respects to the legend himself.
Fans looking to honor Kyle Busch during the weekend are invited to bring a small memento to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Gift Shop, where a special display will be available for fans to leave their tributes and share their appreciation for the Las Vegas native.
Together, the additions will keep Busch’s name part of Las Vegas Motor Speedway while honoring the racing roots and hometown connection that have remained central to his career.
