#71-Rajah Caruth won the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday night, the first Truck Series win of his career.
#71-Caruth started from the pole and led 38 of the 134 laps. With his win, Caruth joins Wendell Scott and Bubba Wallace, as an African American driver to win a national NASCAR race.
#18-Tyler Ankrum finished second, followed by #11-Corey Heim, #17-Taylor Gray, #1-Christopher Bell, #19-Christian Eckes, #88-Matt Crafton, #91-Zane Smith, #9-Grant Enfinger, and #98-Ty Majeski in the top-10.
#98-Majeski won both opening stages and led a race high 40 laps. On lap 102 under the race’s only green-flag cycle of pitstops, he was caught speeding, along with Daytona winner, #2-Nick Sanchez. Both had to serve pass through penalties. #7-Kyle Busch, who won last week in Atlanta, also had trouble on pitroad, with his team receiving a safety violation. He too had to serve a penalty under green.
As green flag pitstops continued, Caruth cycled back into the lead on lap 114.
There were 19 lead changes among 10 drivers and four cautions for 19 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 129.91 mph.

Rajah Caruth won the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 presented by Westgate Resorts, his first victory in 30 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races.
This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in 2024.
