John Hunter Nemechek holds off Kyle Busch to win Truck race at Las Vegas: John Hunter Nemechek earned his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win in four years, holding off his boss Kyle Busch by 0.695-seconds for the victory in Friday night’s Bucked Up 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was a 1-2 finish for Kyle Busch Motorsports. #4-John Hunter Nemechek won the Bucked Up 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday night, holding off his Kyle Busch Motorsports team owner #51-Kyle Busch, following a restart six laps from the finish. #16-Austin Hill made his 100th career start at Las Vegas and finished third. #52-Stewart Friesen, #88-Matt Crafton, #21-Zane Smith, #9-Grant Enfinger, #75-Parker Kligerman, and #98-Christian Eckes claimed spots four through nine.
#99-Ben Rhodes won the first two races of the 2021 Truck Series season, started from the pole position on Friday night, and closed out the top-10.
KBM dominated the race, with #4-Nemechek winning stage 1 and #51-Busch claiming stage 2. Nemechek led 94 of the 134 laps.
There were nine lead changes among five drivers and nine cautions for 48 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 96.134mph.
