Per the NASCAR Rule Book (Section 220.127.116.11):
.a NASCAR-approved Tire Manufacturer tire test race teams will be determined by the previous year’s top 20 in Team Owner’s Points.
.b Each organization MUST participate in their assigned NASCAR-approved Tire Manufacturer tire test—exchanging test assignments between organizations will not be permitted, except in rare instances.
.c Only full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers may participate in a NASCAR-approved Tire Manufacturer tire test.
.d Each test will be assigned a sequential test number.
For 2019, Team Penske and Stewart-Haas Racing each get 3 test sessions, Joe Gibbs Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Chip Ganassi Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, and Wood Brothers Racing each get 2.
