Teams across all three NASCAR national series will use known Goodyear Racing Eagles at Phoenix Raceway, with all three using the same tire codes from the last time they visited the dogleg-oval.
The NASCAR Cup Series last used this left-side tire during the March visit to Arizona, as this is the only track where this left-side tire is used. The right-side tire was most recently used at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in August.
The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series used its Phoenix setup at World Wide Technology Raceway last month. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has raced this setup four times in 2026 since last visiting Phoenix in 2025.
All three series will have access to wet weather tires in case of inclement weather.
“The Goodyear Racing Eagles we are bringing this weekend have already been proven on track at Phoenix,” said Justin Fantozzi, Goodyear’s Director of Racing for the Americas. “This is a somewhat unusual track, so we draw from our typical short track and intermediate track packages, along with a left-side Cup Series tire that only races here.”
Goodyear Racing Eagles are also in action this weekend at the NHRA National event at Texas Motorplex and at the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Barcelona.
