Chandler Smith drives to front in closing laps to win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Nineteen year-old Chandler Smith took the lead with two laps remaining and held off 2021 championship contender Zane Smith and the winningest driver in NASCAR national-series history, his team owner Kyle Busch, to win the Victoria’s Voice 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.(Read More)(3-5-2022)

#18-Chandler Smith won the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday night, after making the race-winning pass on the backstretch of the last lap. The win is his first of the year, first at Las Vegas and the third of his career.
#18-Smith pulled a crossover move on #38-Zane Smith on the backstretch to get the win. #38-Smith was second, with #51-Kyle Busch in third. #52-Stewart Friesen, #17-Ryan Preece, #15-Tanner Gray, #25-Matt DiBenedetto finished in spots fourth through seventh.
#88-Matt Crafton made his 500th career start in Las Vegas and finished eighth.
#32-Bret Holmes and #22-Austin Wayne Self closed out the top-10.
Pole-sitter #4-John Hunter Nemechek ran near the front throughout the night but was involved in a multi-truck crash on the last lap.
#99-Ben Rhodes won Stage 1 and Stage 2, but an accident after contact from teammate #66-Ty Majeski on lap 105.
There were 21 lead changes among 10 drivers and 10 cautions for 52 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 93.223mph.
