Formation of the new Wyler – Gaughan Race team has been announced for ’08; they plan to run at least six Cup races in ’08 with Brendan Gaughan as driver. Hearing that the Wyler/Gaughan merger has fallen through. Brendan Gaughan told Sirius NASCAR Radio’s Sirius Speedway Wednesday that the announced merger with Wyler Racing is off, and that his family’s South Point Racing team will disband.
