Johnny Sauter pulls away to win at Charlotte for first time: As drivers battled for position behind him, Johnny Sauter pulled away his No. 21 GMS Racing Chevrolet during the final 10-lap run to win Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.[More](5-18-2018)

Sauter wins Charlotte: #21-Johnny Sauter led a race-high 71 of the 134 laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday night to win the NC Education Lottery Camping World Truck Series race. It was Sauter’s first win at Charlotte in the Truck Series, his third of the season, and 20th win of his career.
#51-Kyle Busch overcame two pitroad penalties to finish second. #46-Brandon Jones, #16-Brett Moffitt, #41-Ben Rhodes, #52-Stewart Friesen, #75-Parker Kligerman, #18-Noah Gragson, #8-John Hunter Nemechak and #4-Todd Gilliland were the remainder of the top-10.
There were seven caution flags for 36 laps and 11 lead changes among five leaders.
