Notes – Trucks have new left-side tire at Atlanta: While teams in all three NASCAR Series will run the same right-side tire code at Atlanta this week, those in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series will run a different left-side code than those in the Cup and Xfinity Series . . . this is the first time Truck teams have run this left-side tire code . . . compared to what was run last year, this left-side features a construction update that will align Atlanta with what is run at other speedways . . . this right-side tire code is a multi-zone tread tire, with a two-inch inboard compound designed for heat resistance and a 10-inch outboard compound to give more grip . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Atlanta . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
