Grant Enfinger charges to win in first NASCAR Truck Series Playoff race: Grant Enfinger picked a fine time to win his first race of the season. Charging to the front on fresh tires after the TSport 200 went to overtime on Friday night, Enfinger passed Zane Smith for the lead on Lap 206 of 207 and went on to win the first event in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoff.(Read More)(7-29-2022)

#23-Grant Enfinger won the TSport 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park Friday night. The win is his first at Indianapolis, first since 2020, and the seventh of his career.
Enfinger’s Jeff Hensley led team opted for four fresh tires under a caution flag with less than 10 laps remaining. Other trucks stayed on track and Enfinger restarted from the 13th position. Another caution flag and another restart allowed him to make up ground with his new tires, putting him in position to take the lead from #38-Zane Smith on the final lap.
#99-Ben Rhodes also got by Smith and finished second. #38-Smith, finished third. #52-Stewart Friesen, #51-Corey Heim, and #16-Tyler Ankrum finished fourth through sixth. #62-Layne Riggs, making his series debut in a second Halmar-Friesen Racing entry, finished an impressive seventh. #66-Ty Majeski, #88-Matt Crafton, and pole-sitter, #4-John Hunter Nemechek were the remainder of the top-10.
Stage 1 was won by #4-Nemechek.
Stage 2 was won by #66-Majeski.
The return to the Indianapolis short track after an 11-year hiatus was also the opening race in the Round of 10. Of the 10 Playoff drivers, three finished outside of the top-10: #98-Christian Eckes finished 16th, #18-Chandler Smith finished 18th, and #42-Carson Hocevar was 21st.
There were 12 lead changes among 6 drivers and 10 cautions for 78 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 69.961mph.
