Super sub Kyle Larson dominates NASCAR Truck race at North Wilkesboro: Kyle Larson proved an admirable substitute on Saturday at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Subbing for injured Alex Bowman, who had been scheduled to race the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet, Larson led 138 of 252 laps in winning the Tyson 250 in overtime. Larson is the first driver to win a NASCAR-sanctioned race at revitalized North Wilkesboro in 27 years. #7-Kyle Larson won the Tyson 250 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series return to North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday. The win was his first of the season and the third Truck Series win of his career. He was the first driver to win at North Wilkesboro in 27 years.
#98-Ty Majeski finished second. #25-Matt DiBenedetto, #42-Carson Hocevar, #1-Bubba Wallace, #11-Corey Heim, #88-Matt Crafton, #4-Chase Purdy, #41-Ross Chastain, and #23-Bubba Wallace were the top-10.
Pole-sitter #11-Heim led 75 laps and won the opening stage.
#7-Larson won stage 2 and went on to lead a race high 138 of the 252 laps.
There were six lead changes among five drivers and 12 cautions for 81 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 68.769 mph.
