A reader saw on Speedvision that Joe Ruttman will be driving a #55 Ford Thunderbird in the Winston Open. Supposedly Michael Waltrip would be listed as the car owner, although it’s essentially a second Wood Brothers car. Waltrip said they hoped to field the car in the Open and in two or three Cup races later in the year(5-6-97)
