The fact that Ranier-Walsh could lose Hardee’s as a sponsor is still up in the air. But Hardees is *not* in Chapter 11. There have been rumors that one of their former franchisees, Flagstar – based in Spartanburg, will declare Chapter 11 within the next 30 days. The Ranier deal was *not* with Flagstar. Also, it was *not* with the company that supposedly has bought Flagstar’s Hardees restaurants. Ranier’s deal was suppose to have been with Hardees out of Rocky Mount, NC.
