Geoff Bodine said on RPM2Nite that he is thinking about a two car team in 1998 and will make an announcement on his new partners and arrangement during the week at Indy before the Brickyard 400, 8-1. Dr. Jerry Punch said that the partnership is already in place and they are well known. Also Dr. Punch said Bodine will be using Pro Motors for the races to ease up the pressure on his own engine shop, they will still supply practice and qualifying motors. So I wonder what is up with the Glidden deal. Bodine also took the blame for spending too much money and said it wasn’t QVC’s fault and said brother Todd would not be part of his possible two car team but would have his own big announcement in the coming weeks(7-16-97)
