“TriStar Motorsports(Owner Mark Smith #19 Ford) has ceased racing in 1997 but has not shut down completely. It has moved it’s shop from Huntersville, NC to Mooresville. The team has downsized but plans to race in 1998”. As reported here, Smith’s engine dept is building engines for ISM Motorsports. the #35 Tabasco Pontiac that will be driven by Todd Bodine in 1998. ISM is also leasing TriStar’s Huntersville shop(WC Scene)(8-14-97)
