I see this rumor has returned: Speaking of who’ll be back, Michael Waltrip might not be – at least not with the Wood brothers’ No. 21 car. Sources close to the situation say Waltrip, who’s 18th in the points standings, is being courted by Petty’s No. 43 vacancy, and that the Wood brothers certainly would have no objections if Waltrip chose to bolt.
