“Sterling Marlin was quite upset with Gordon after the crash on Sunday at Talladega, and was not convinced a tire let go on Gordon’s car, as Gordon said. “I’ll call it like I see it. It looked like Andretti and Gordon were going down the straightaway straight. Gordon swerved over and hit Andretti and got ’em both a little wiggly. Gordon over corrected and hung me in the right rear and turned us both in the wall and started a big wreck.” One driver said the two had to be separated in the ambulance following the crash.”(iRace)(10-15-97)
