Very Interesting from NASCAR Online concerning Ricky Craven and the #25 Bud Chevy making the race per a provisional(he had no regular provisional left): “NASCAR rules allow for an additional provisional starting position for this race for the top-10 car owners in NASCAR Winston West Points. If it is unused, the provisional is awarded to the car owner highest in NASCAR Winston Cup Series points, who did not otherwise qualify for the event.
