As announced here: “Amoco announced yesterday it will sponsor a new Busch Grand National team owned by Bill Davis. Driving the car will be Dave Blaney, a former sprint car champion who has earned more than $3.5 million. It’s a three-year deal. The team plans to race in 21 events next season, the full schedule in 1999 as well as a few Winston Cup races.
