“Driver/Owner Norm Benning announced plans to field a Winston Cup ride in the February 12, 1998 Gatorade Twin-Qualifying races at Daytona Speedway. Benning, who finished eighth in the 1997 ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde series point standings, expects to make qualifying attempts at several selected NASCAR Winston Cup events in 1998.
