Hut Stricklin, who drives the car sponsored by Richmond, Va.-based Circuit City, still hasn’t found a permanent crew chief or a full-time engineer. After crew chief Bill Ingle left the team to join Ricky Rudd after last month’s Daytona 500, Stricklin had hoped to have a new man in place by this weekend. As it is, Stricklin is 42nd in the points standings. He said his car owner, Bill Stavola, hasn’t given him any indication he should be worried about his job.(Skip Wood/Times-Dispatch)(3-21-98)
