Rich Bickle will be driving the #17 Sears-Diehard Truck of newly named T.J. Motorsports at this weekend’s NCTS race at Homestead, FL. Tim J. Beverley, the new owner of Darrell Waltrip’s #17 organization, has secured the driving services of Bickle for a one-race Truck deal. Bickle’s former NCTS crewchief Dave McCarty and a mixed cadre of Truck and WC crew members from the #17 shops will prep and crew the Truck. #17 Truck is unsponsored for this race, but the team is working to remedy that before race time.(TNN- www.country.com)(3-30-98)
