Bud Moore back with Blaise Alexander

UPDATE II: I hear Rescue with driver Blaise Alexander will announce a five race deal with Bud Moore Engineering in the #15 Ford, this coming Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Coca Cola 600. Rescue is behind the effort and wants Moore as part of NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary. Not sure what the other four races are.(5-18-98) – On NASCAR Online there is a story that Bud Moore Fords will return at the Daytona Pepsi 400 with either Tim Steele or some other young driver. Will not return this weekend at Charlotte as I say above. There will be an official announcement Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.(5-19-98) -BUD MOORE IS BACK!Per NASCAR Online: The #15 Bud Moore Ford, sponsored by Rescue Engine Formula will return at Daytona for the Pepsi 400 under the lights. The team, Robinson-Moore Motorsports, will run a limited 1998 schedule(Indy, Pocono, Richmond, Darlington, Charlotte and Rockingham) with Blaise Alexander driving the car until Tim Steele recovers from his injuries (Atlanta practice 11/97). Dave Robinson – an Orlando, Florida businessman is part of the ownership team. Also plans are for a two car team in 1999 with both Alexander and Steele as drivers. The team plans to test in the open Daytona test in June and possibly at Talladega before the Pepsi 400.
