UPDATE II: Hearing rumors that Hut Stricklin has been released from the #8 Circuit City Chevy.(5-22-98) – one rumor has Buckshot Jones taking over??(5-23-98) – Hut Stricklin has been released from the #8 Circuit City ride effective immediately. The team cites a lack of performance as the reason for the split. Buckshot Jones will handle the ride at Dover and Richmond while the Stavola team comes to grips with who will replace Stricklin full time. In an associated rumor, we hear that Hut might be in line for the #96 CAT car of David Green.(www.goracing.com)(5-23-98) – I hear Andy Hillenburg will drive the #8 Circuit City Chevy in some races also and may be the replacement for Stricklin.
