Car owner Buz McCall(#96 Caterpillar) confirmed yesterday that David Green has been ousted as driver. Hut Stricklin has been recruited to steer the car this weekend, and possibly longer. Green said he has no immediate opportunities for employment but that he already has put out feelers with several teams. McCall is the first to acknowledge that Stricklin’s performance this weekend is something of an audition.(Times-Dispatch)(6-13-98)
