Elliott Sadler would be one of the more hotly pursued drivers for a Cup deal should he be freed from his Busch Series sponsor obligations. He competed in his first career Cup race this season and has plans to compete in four more, although his Charlotte Cup sponsor, OP, now has departed. Among the teams who have sent out feelers: the Stavolas’, Buzz McCall’s, and Larry Hedrick’s.
